Ah spring!  Once again a time for renewed focus, motivation, and yes the annual call to the ASPA membership for volunteers to fill positions on the executive and ASPA Committees.

Volunteer?  Curious how the word makes you feel.  Granted it does carry some level of weight.  A responsibility to live up to some terms or perhaps an onus to carry for some time?  What about the opportunity it presents though? The chance to contribute or to improve?  Lofty ideals but meanings that also apply.

ASPA advocates on behalf of members to improve the working environment at the UofS.

In the fall of 2015 the ASPA Executive asked the Communications and Public Relations Committee to begin working on a project that would see ASPA recognize our members for their years of service. This project was officially green-lighted by the ASPA Executive in January of this year.
