Wellness Resources Offered by USask

USask offers a wide range of wellness resources to help staff and faculty maintain a healthy work-life balance and promote overall well-being:

  • Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP): Offers confidential support for you and your family members to manage personal and professional challenges. Conversation you have here will never be shared with any other parties. Learn more about EFAP.
  • USask Wellness Homepage: This is the central hub for wellness resources, including workshops, guides, articles, and upcoming events related to health and well-being.
  • Virtual Health Care: As a USask faculty or staff member, you and your dependents have access to a virtual “walk-in” service that connects you with local medical professionals— including nurses, doctors, and mental health practitioners— from the comfort and safety of your home. Mental Health Services in Saskatoon

Several community-based services are available for those seeking mental health care. Some are covered by your Saskatchewan Health Card, while others may be covered through your benefits provider:

  • Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA): Learn about the different types of mental health services available in Saskatoon offered through the Saskatchewan Health Authority
  • Saskatoon Dube Centre: Offers acute care, inpatient services to children and youth as well as adults experiencing major mental health problems that interfere with quality of life.
  • Canadian Mental Health Association (Saskatoon): Offers community-based mental health programs and peer support
